Earlybird is a venture capital firm that invests in European technology companies. They focus on supporting startups in various stages of growth, from seed to later-stage rounds. Earlybird has been active since 1997 and has built a diverse portfolio across sectors such as enterprise software, consumer internet, digital health, fintech, and deep tech.
Earlybird Venture Capital has grown to four autonomous, dedicated and specialized teams, focusing on different geographies and sectors.
The Digital West Fund focuses primarily on early stage digital technology opportunities in GSA, Nordics, UK, Benelux, France and Southern Europe, while the Digital East Fund is focused on early stage ICT investment opportunities in Eastern Europe and Turkey, being the leading tech VC in this region. The Health Fund focuses on early and later stage opportunities in digital health, medical devices, diagnostics, enabling technologies and biopharma across Europe.
Earlybird-X backs deep tech innovation, including robotics, AI, and mobility, at the earliest stages – tapping into a network of leading European universities.
Earlybird Health has closed a €173 million fund aimed at focusing on healthcare innovations that aim to improve patient outcomes. They invest between €0.5M to €10M per company.
