Overview

Pathfinder project are focused on R&D. The complexity and high risk of the research will require multidisciplinary collaborations to seek new technological solutions. The consortium must comply with tue minimum rule of 3 independent legal entities from 3 different countries. 1 at least has to be in one Member State. Once this minimum rule is exceeded, more institutions and more countries can participate. Once the consortium is formed, candidates must submit into the platform a scientific report following the template of the call, with a maximum length of 25 pages. In 2022 two cuts are expected, 1 open cut off 2nd March 2022, and pathfinder challenges 1 cut-off 26 october 2022.

The EIC Pathfinder programme offers grants of up to EUR 3 million (open) or EUR 4 million (challenges), or more if duly justified, to achieve the proof of principle and validate the scientific basis of breakthrough technology ( Technology Readiness Levels 1-4)
