Fond-ICO Next Tech se constituye como fondo de fondos, por lo que invierte principalmente en fondos o vehículos que a su vez inviertan mayoritariamente en compañías españolas que operen en los sectores tecnológicos objetivo y en tamaños de scale-up, inversiones entre venture capital y capital expansión.

Los fondos/vehículos en los que invierte Fond-ICO Next Tech deberán tener mayoría de capital privado y ser gestionados por gestoras privadas con presencia y experiencia de inversión en España. El volumen de capital invertido por Fond-ICO Next Tech en cada uno de los fondos participados será de 100 millones de euros por fondo ó vehiculo alcanzando un máximo del 49% del tamaño objetivo del fondo.

Fond-ICO Next Tech también puedes llevar a cabo coinversión directa en scale ups, con tamaño mínimo de 5 millones de euros y máximo de 20 millones de euros bajo un esquema de colaboración público-privada. Será necesario por tanto que siempre exista un coinversor profesional que invierta en las mismas condiciones que Fond-ICO Next Tech.

The information about this fund is still very limited but it looks like a great opportunity to attract foreign capital to Spanish startups and scaleups. Looking forward to seeing new steps towards this direction from the Spanish Government and ICO.
