G+D is a theme-driven investor, focusing on early-stage companies, whose innovations promote and protect trust in digital ecosystems.

G+D Ventures is active since 2018 and founded by experienced Venture Capitalists. They are a theme-driven investor focusing on growth-oriented companies, whose innovations promote and protect trust in our society. With this goal in mind, they established a €50m co-investment vehicle with the European Investment Bank and G+D, dedicated to investing in early-stage European TrustTech startups.

They designed this fund to move quickly, driven by financial returns while leveraging the support of G+D’s business units. With the G+D Group’s backing and decades of venture capital investing experience in both financial and corporate settings, they leverage our unique, global trust network to open doors for their portfolio companies.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) and G+D Ventures, the venture capital arm of the global security group G+D, will invest €25 million each into a new investment platform. The platform will then invest equity into small and medium-sized European companies that develop new technologies in the field of cybersecurity and trust tech, building a portfolio of 12-15 companies.

The aim of the platform is to invest in the development of innovative solutions that contribute to strengthening trust in a digital/tech society. These include solutions for cybersecurity, privacy protection technologies, digital identity management, and secure authentication and payment systems.

Their initial investment ranges between EUR 500k - EUR 3m (with additional allocation for follow-on investments), and they invest in Seed, Series A, and Selectively Series B.
