Overview

Standard Action Projects (SAP) are aimed to support the testing, development, demonstrate and promote innovative techniques, methods and approaches. The main idea is to catalyse the large-scale deployment of successful technical and policy-related solutions to implement the relevant Union legislation and policy by replicating results and integrating related objectives into other policies and public and private sector practices.

These projects are fully flexible, will have a maximum of 10 years duration, and are mostly aimed to contribute to the knowledge base and to the application of best practices, monitoring and enforcement of the relevant Union legislation and policy, in particular through enhancing capacities of public and private actors and the involvement of civil society.
