The Newchip Accelerator Program was developed to operate like an Executive MBA program, running after work hours each week, and with all of the assignments designed to be done at your own pace. It is worldwide, so applications from everywhere are accepted.

The Newchip Accelerator, on average, cuts fundraising time in half and 70% of our graduates are able to successfully raise capital.

New Chip has launched three funding programs: the pre-seed accelerator program (up to $1M), the seed accelerator program (up to $5M) and the series A accelerator program (uo to $10M), and all of them last up to six months.

NewChip is  industry-agnostic and consider startups and businesses in most sectors and industries.  However, they do not accept into the accelerator or invest in companies focused on: weapons manufacturing or distribution, politically affiliated and divisive missions, illegal drugs (to include federally regulated cannabis companies with an exception for cannabis technology), cryptocurrency projects raising money through token sales, as well as any entities which create, promote, or display content which is adult themed or 17+ in nature.

APPLICATION & INTERVIEW

Application Review:

Once you submit your application, Newchip team will email you within 3-5 business days on whether you’ve been selected for interview.

Founder Interview:

Once approved, they’ll email you a link to schedule an interview. Please note that interview space is limited so they recommend booking as soon as possible. 

EVALUATION & SELECTION

Admissions Review:

The team will complete an initial due diligence evaluation to determine your suitability for the program and present to their selection committee.

Acceptance/Denial Notification:

You will be notified of the decision to accept or deny your application within 24 hours of our committee vote. If accepted, your seat will remain open until the cohort fills up.

PROCESS & TIMELINE

Cohort applications are due no later than the 15th unless you request an extension. They recommend applying 30 days prior to each cohort launch.

Investment Timeline:

When they commit to a round, they expect to complete the due diligence and complete the investment process within 90 days of term sheet issuance.
