Partnerships for Excellence: European Universities – European Degree exploratory action

Partnerships for Excellence support projects with a long-term sustainable perspective. This action aims at fostering excellence in higher education by supporting higher education institutions in the design, adaptation, and implementation of innovative and inclusive transnational joint programmes at bachelor, master, or doctoral levels, aligned with the criteria for the joint European degree label, as set out in Annex II of the Council Recommendation on a European Quality Assurance and Recognition System in Higher Education^[1].

The action will generate practical models and evidence to inspire broader adoption of the joint European degree label across Europe. The action also encourages targeted exploration of the concept of a European degree in engineering.
