Created in 2010, the company is managed by Alain Lacroix, Executive Chairman and former bank manager. It was reinforced at the very beginning of the 2020 financial year by the arrival of a Managing Director in the person of Pierre Joubert, a professional in the sector, himself AMF certified.
Région Sud Investissement bases its organization on service providers approved by the AMF and chosen by open calls for tenders, in this case Smalt Capital for the management of the loan activity and a service provider for which a call for tenders is in progress. course for management of investment activity.

It also leads two committees (Investments – Loans) whose members are mostly from the economic world. Alain Lacroix chairs these two bodies.

Investment criteria:

-Seed/Venture Capital: all innovative SMEs in the seed or start-up phase,

-Development Capital: all industrial or service SMEs with a growth project,

-Intervention ticket between 200,000 and 2 million euros,

-In pari passu co-investment with independent private investors,

-Equity or quasi-equity,

-the headquarters or the main activity of the company must be in the South Region.
