Overview

The acronym “RIA” describes the type of funding, but it is not a type of call. Several types of European calls are actually RIA (for example SC1, IMI, FET-OPEN, DT, CEchallenges). The challenges are periodically published in the EU portal and are aimed for consortiums, at least 3 partners from 3 different European countries (or associated). There can be one stage calls - where consortiums must submit 70-page proposal - or two stages - where a pre-proposal of 10 pages is submitted, and if it pass the evaluation then the consortium can submit a full proposal of 70 pages.
