Overview
Sting is an accelerator for startups. They are a non-profit organisation, owned by a public-private foundation. This makes them an independent, founder-centric player who always acts based on what’s best for your startup.
They offer qualified coaching in business development, a business angel network, a venture capital fund, a recruitment service, and an international network of investors, business contacts and experts.
-Admission: 2 batches per year, 12-15 startups per batch Length: Minimum four months, maximum 24 months (depending on where you are on your startup journey).
-Cost: They have a “success fee” model in the form of stock warrants to Sting. Investment from Propel Capital: SEK 500 000 convertible note (in addition to Sting’s warrant).
-Requirements: Launched prototype/alpha. Founding team of minimum two people.
