Overview

Betaworks investsaccelerates, and builds companies and projects from scratch — our focus right now is on AI and Augmentation, LLM's, NLP,  web3 rails and applied machine learning

They focus on a variety of state of the art tech innovations, including web3, crypto media, NLP/CV, and applied machine learning.

In 2016, they launched Betaworks Camp, a thematic residency and investment program for early-stage companies.  Camp allows them to immerse themselves in emerging tech categories and work closely with the startups in each cohort.

For the last ten years they have invested in early stage start-ups related to areas they are building in. Previous investments include: Tumblr, Kickstarter, Medium and Venmo. They continue to do so through their seed and series A $50m fund. Their investment size ranges from $250K to $500K and typically they are among the first to invest.

Betaworks has a strong portfolio that encompasses successful emerging businesses such as StreemUnsplash, and Anchor.
