BIONetZero Acceleration Programme – Call 1, Stage 1 (Ideation & Travel Grant). Access to stages 2-4 only via stage 1.

Applications must be submitted electronically via the BIONetZero application platform.

Applicants are required to:

1. create a user profile on the application platform,
2. complete the online application form in English, and
3. upload the required annexes (including a pitch deck).

Only complete applications submitted before the call deadline will be considered.

Applications will be evaluated by the BIONetZero Evaluation Committee with the support of external experts. Evaluation will be based on transparent criteria, including:

1. relevance of the problem addressed,
2. quality and innovation level of the biosolution,
3. technological maturity and feasibility,
4. market potential and scalability,
5. capacity and commitment of the SME team,
6. alignment with the objectives of the BIONetZero project.

Applicants will be informed of the evaluation outcome via the application platform and by email.

All applications are submitted under Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP) rules in accordance with the Single Market Programme (SMP). SMEs may receive a maximum total of EUR 60,000 in financial support across all stages of the BIONetZero programme.

A co‑financing rate of 25% applies to all grants.

The BIONetZero project is co‑funded by the European Union under the SMP‑COSME‑2024‑CLUSTER call.
