Demeter is a major player in venture capital and private equity for the energy and ecological transition.

Demeter's funds invest from €1m to €30m to support companies in the sector at all stages of their development : innovative startups, small and mid-cap companies, as well as infrastructure projects. The Demeter team counts 37 people based in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Madrid, and Düsseldorf, manages €1.2bn and has completed 200 investments over 17 years.

Demeter is a responsible and committed investor. As such, we are signatories of numerous initiatives such as PRI (Principle for Responsible Investment), CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), iC20, The Shift Project, and initiatives for gender diversity (the France Invest gender equality charter, SISTA and The Billion Dollar Fund for Women).
