Overview

The program has 4 main objectives:

Improve & foster health in the EU
Protect people in the EU from serious cross-border threats to health
Improve medicinal products, medical devices and crisis-relevant products
Strengthen health systems

The 2021 work programme is divided into four strands: disease prevention, crisis preparedness, health systems, and digital, with a cross-cutting focus on cancer.
