Overview

Innosuisse helps leverage your innovation: We support science-based innovation projects carried out by companies – particularly SMEs – working with public-sector research partners. Impulse: Swiss Innovation Power

The Impulse programme Swiss Innovation Power aims to stimulate innovation activities, to maintain the strength of Swiss innovations and secure the long-term competitiveness of small to medium-sized companies in Switzerland in view of the current Covid-19 pandemic.

Through two new measures, the contributions of the implementation partners can be reduced in comparison to the standard innovation projects in 2021 and 2022:

  • Measure 1: Stimulate and accelerate new innovation projects – The company’s own contribution can be limited to 30% (instead of 50%) of the project costs and the cash contribution can be waived in individual cases.
  • Measure 2: Supporting projects that address structural change, disruptive or radical innovation – For projects with high risk and high potential reward, with disruptive character or which help with the structural change. External service providers (e.g.: engineering and consulting services) can be paid for and the implementation partner’s own contribution can be lowered from 50% to 20%.
