Oost NL

East NL invests with risk capital and/or loans directly and indirectly in promising and innovative companies in the East Netherlands. They are fund manager of funds that the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, the province of Gelderland and the province of Overijssel make available for the implementation of their economic policy.

Different direct investment funds have different target groups and rules. They find the right form of financing for you.

The Oost NL participation fund finances promising innovative companies in the provinces of Gelderland and Overijssel that are active in regional or national top sectors. They finance both existing companies with growth plans and startups with a financing need. Oost NL is happy to syndicate and cooperate with informal investors and/or other private equity firms in these processes. 

Funds

-ION+2: ION+2 focuses on SMEs that are active in innovative sectors, such as Agro & Food, Health, HighTech Systems & Materials or Energy and Environmental Technology, including biobased economy and crossovers between those sectors. With this financing, companies can test and further develop new ideas and products in an accessible manner.

-IFO II: IFO I participates with risk capital (equity capital and/or convertible loans) in technologically innovative SMEs in Overijssel from € 100,000. 

-Innovation & Energy Fund: The target group of the Gelderland Innovation and Energy Fund is twofold. The innovative part of the fund focuses on financing innovative Gelderland SMEs, which are mainly active in the areas of Food, Life Sciences & Health, Energy and Environmental Technology, Manufacturing Industry, Circular Economy and Smart Industry. The sustainable energy part of the fund is intended for Dutch companies working on projects (with proven technologies) that directly contribute to the realization of a sustainable energy supply in Gelderland.

-Gelderland Perspective Fund: The Perspectieffonds Gelderland (PFG) focuses on investing in accelerating and strengthening the innovative power of companies that deal with major social challenges such as energy transition, climate adaptation, circular economy, biodiversity, accessibility, economic business climate and living and living environment. 

-Startup Fund: Startup Fund Gelderland (SFG) focuses on startups that develop innovations that contribute to Gelderland's ambitions and social challenges. Startups in the pre-seed phase can submit an application to Startup Fonds Gelderland for a subordinated loan of a minimum of €30,000 and a maximum of €250,000. What is unique about Startup Fonds Gelderland is that it is linked to Orion, StartLife and Briskr support programs that provide smart support to startups before and after a loan has been granted. Oost NL is fund manager of Startup Fonds Gelderland.

-Gelderland Early Phase Financing: For ambitious innovative starters in Gelderland. With a loan from Early Phase Financing Gelderland (VFF Gelderland), start-ups can investigate to what extent their technical concept is in line with interest in the market. The Proof-of-concept fund VFF Gelderland focuses on entrepreneurs who contribute to solutions for social issues.
