Overview
This open call aims to support European SMEs operating in the Mobility, Transport and Automotive ecosystem to redefine their manufacturing or industrial processes, carrying out improvements in current operations and/or incorporating new methods or systems which allow them to be more digital, green and resilient. The call is split into two cut-offs or application periods: the 1st one, launched on the 13th May 2026, will be opened for 2 months, while the 2nd one is expected to be launched in May 2027
Eligible candidates
The Open call is addressed to SMEs working in the MTA ecosystem and located in EU Member States or SMP associated countries. SMEs can apply individually or in consortium (2-3 SMEs from different NUTS2 regions)
Submission process
Applications to the RESIST II process innovation open call must be submitted electronically vía the following online platform. Eligible candidates must fill in the corresponding application form and upload the required annexes (resilience check + declaration of honour)
Evaluation process in three stages
- Verification of the admissibility and eligibility of applications
- Analysis of eligible proposals by at least 3 independent experts and scoring according to the 4 evaluation criteria specified in the Guide for applicants. Applications will then be ranked in descending order based on the scores obtained and the established tie-breaking rules
- The resulting ranking list must be reviewed by the consortium partners for its validation
Applicants could receive up to 20,000€ in the case of individual projects and up to 30,000€/SME in the case of collaborative projects, with 90% of co-financing rate
Apart from the funding, selected SMEs will benefit from a complementary package of services provided during their projects implementation, including technical support, access to the pool of experts, training courses and internationalisation opportunities in third countries
