RENEW-BOOSTER EUROCLUSTER CALL N°1 FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THIRD PARTIES

Applications may be modified as long as the deadline is respected: you will be able to save and come back later on EU Survey. The platform will be automatically closed at the date and time announced, that is April 28th, 2026, at 5:00 pm CET. Applicants will receive an e-mail confirming that their application has been well uploaded on the platform. Shall you not receive the confirmation e-mail, please contact Benjamin Schmidt at [email protected] and copy your local contact point. SMEs applying as a consortium should fill in one proposal. One of the involved SMEs will act as a “coordinator” and will be responsible for the submission of the application.

RENEW BOOSTER Eurocluster innovation mechanism will support projects in the "challenge" call and projects in the "open" call, at least 3 SMEs and up to €60,000 euros per SME.

Proposals will be eligible only if all the following conditions are met:

1. Applicants must be established in one of the following eligible countries: EU-27 + all countries participating in the SMP.
2. Applicants must be SMEs according to the European Union definition of SMEs: the formal definition is available here and the SME self-assessment questionnaire is available here;
3. Applications should address the Challenge call or the Open call. Both are defined in the call text. Challenges are also described in details in an additional document to download in the submission form on EUSurvey.
4. Applications must be written in English (applications partially written in another language are not eligible) and must not exceed the maximum number of characters stated in each text box of the pre-defined template available on the submission platform;
5. Applications must be submitted through EUSurvey.
6. Each interested SME must submit only one proposal for the call for financial support to innovation for each call; In case of multiple submissions by the same SME, all submissions will be automatically rejected;
7. No annexes can be submitted other than the ones demanded on the EU Survey platform.
8. The evaluation and ranking of applications are based on a set of criteria defined in the call text.

The RENEW-BOOSTER project aims at driving innovation and industrialization in three critical sectors that are vital for Europe’s green transition and energy security: Photovoltaics (PV), Offshore Wind Energy, and the associated Energy Networks. At the core of RENEW-BOOSTER is the Accelerator, providing tailored support for SMEs to identify opportunities and develop solutions, strengthening their role in the renewable energy value chain and enhancing resilience.

The project aligns with Europe’s strategic priorities, including reducing critical raw material dependency (Critical Raw Materials Act), advancing climate goals (Green Deal), and supporting re-industrialization (Net Zero Industry Act). RENEW-BOOSTER aims to empower SMEs and accelerate Europe’s twin green and digital transitions.

We reserve the right not to award all available funds or to redistribute them between the different calls, depending on the proposals received and the results of the evaluation.
