Speedinvest

Speedinvest is a pan-European investor. With five offices across Europe and €400m AUM so far, the firm focuses its investments on early-stage European startups.

Their previous fund closed at €80 million which was called Climate and Industry Opportunity fund, has been raised with the objective of supporting European climate tech startups, in order to help Europe achieve its sustainability goals. It invested in Speedinvest’s existing startups which are oriented to sustainability. The fund was also used to support non-portfolio startups which are contributing to European industry digitalization and decarbonization, through co-investment into larger and later-stage rounds.

In December 2022, the firm has recently launched a new fund to help tech startups from across the continent reach global success. The VC firm will pump €500 million into the European startup community.

€300m is being invested into innovative new pre-Seed and Seed startups through its fourth flagship fund, Speedinvest 4, while the remaining capital is reserved for selective follow-on co-investments in existing Speedinvest portfolio companies to support their long-term growth. Speedinvest 4 aims to help European tech startups scale. 

Speedinvest’s Climate & Industry Opportunity fund has provided funding to two of its portfolio startups so far: Packhelp and TIER Mobility.
