Fund size

SpeedUp Group invests in various stages of company development - from the seed stage, which means the moment when the prototype of the project is being created, up to Series A. As a group of Funds, we have a wide investment range. Depending on the requirements, growth potential and project maturity, we invest from €200K to €5M.

They invest in companies in exchange for stakes they'll want to sell when the time is right. They invest with a 3-8-year perspective, and their exit strategy is based on selling their shares to another investor from the industry, managerial buy-out, or initial public offering. As a venture capital fund, they take the risk and realize that many of their investments won't make it, hence, they expect a more than average investment return from these few which will manage to grow.

There're many essential aspects that influence their decision on investing in a project, however, there're few we consider to be imperative:

TEAM'S STRENGTH

Complete, talented and globally-oriented team is a vital component of company's success. Therefore, they're looking for people who are great entrepreneurs, engineers and team-players; those, with a high level of technical and managerial competency that would go hand in hand with in-depth understanding of any problem they would be trying to address.

VALUE BUILDING PRODUCT

They're looking for solutions of a great value. It means that particular product must be an answer to a problem concerning millions of customers. They believe in designing products on the basis of customers opinions and knowledge, and the lean startup methodology.

MARKET POTENTIAL

They invest in development, therefore, we're looking for projects of great market potential. Diligent market research, ability to keep an eye on the competition, and the skill to gain insight about a particular industry would help you convince them to invest. Scalable companies have the biggest chance for success, however, you need to prove you know how it's done.
