-Increased promotion and public awareness of EU rights and values (increased number of awareness raising actions/campaigns)
Increased civic engagement in environmental protection/climate change (support to innovative methods for the protection of the environment; support for the awareness raising actions/campaigns.)
Submission and evaluation process (apply to both countries):
The call is an open-end call for proposals which will remain open until the budget is exhausted, or until 01/01/2028 at the latest. Applications with the required attachments must be submitted exclusively in electronic form to the designated email address: Croatia – [email protected]; Slovenia - [email protected]i. These email addresses are intended solely for the submission of applications for this Call and will not be monitored before the beginning of the application acceptance date. Applications submitted sooner or in any other way (e.g., by fax, regular mail, etc.) or sent to another email address will be rejected.
Applications must be delivered to the specified email address no sooner than November 5, 2025. Applications delivered to the specified email address before this date will be rejected. The date and time of email delivery with the completed application and all required attachments are those recorded on the server of CNVOS/Community Foundation Slagalica.
After submitting application, applicants will receive an automatic response to the email address from which the application was sent. If such a response does not arrive in the applicant's email inbox or spam folder within two (2) hours after sending the application, applicants may contact CNVOS or CFS during the publicised office hours for check of the application status.
- A complete application includes:
● A fully completed application form (Word),
● A fully completed financial plan (Excel),
● A completed form with applicant and project details (Excel),
● A scanned, signed, and stamped Applicant's Statement declaring they accept the conditions of the call, including the compliance with the EU values (in .pdf format),
● A scanned, signed (and stamped) Partner's Statement declaring they accept the conditions of the call, including the compliance with the EU values (in case of partnership) (in .pdf format),

Applicants will be notified on the result of their application no later than 14 days after their submission. All applications received shall be assessed according to the selection criteria published in the call. Applicants can submit new application any time after the rejection of the previous one. At the same time, an applicant can have only one on-going ”go out and vote” action.
Evaluation process (apply to both countries):
Administrative check of administrative and eligibility criteria (consortium staff, 4 eyes rule) (see the criteria in the Call document). If certain parts of the project application are missing and can be supplemented (documents or information), applicants will have 5 working days from the date of notification to submit the required supplements. The notification requesting the supplement will be sent to the email address provided by the applicant in the application form (the email address of the contact person).
Applicants whose applications are rejected due to non-compliance with administrative and eligibility criteria will have 8 working days from the date of notification to submit an appeal against the eligibility decision. Appeals will be reviewed by the Complaints Committee, and the Committee’s decision is final. Appeals should be sent to the designated email address for Slovenia/Croatia.
Evaluation of Application Quality (apply to both countries):
Each application that meets the administrative and eligibility criteria will be reviewed and assessed by collective decision-making of the evaluation commission, consisting of 5 members – 3 representatives of the consortium, 2 external experts (1 from Slovenia and 1 from Croatia). As the call will take place on a rolling basis according to a “first come – first serve” principle, there will be no scoring, only YES/NO decisions on each of the criteria (with argumentation). Only projects with all criteria assessed with YES will be supported (see the criteria in the Call document).
Rejected applications can be re-submitted any time, until all funds are exhausted or until 01/01/2028 at the latest.
Due diligence: all proposals that are confirmed by the evaluation committee will be checked on the respect of respect of EU values and double funding.
Eligible organisations should be established in Slovenia or Croatia. Additional eligibility criteria can be found in the Call documentation. All eligible applicants and partners must respect the fundamental rights and values on which the EU is founded.
