Capiton has raised a total of €1.5B across 4 funds, their latest being Capiton VI. This fund was announced on Nov 25, 2021 and raised a total of €504M.

Capiton invests in SMEs located mainly in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. They focus on profitable companies with a turnover of between €50 and €300 million and usually invest between €20 and €60 million of their own funds. They also partner with co-investors to realise much larger investments.
