The aim of the Seed and Start-up Fund II is to provide equity capital for spin-offs from universities, research institutions and companies with research, development or science-based activities as well as for innovative start-ups of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in or Business premises in Schleswig-Holstein.

Participation

Participation amount (silent) :

-Seed phase: 50,000 to 200,000 euros, in justified exceptional cases a maximum of 500,000 euros,

-Start-up phase: 50,000 to 350,000 euros, in justified exceptional cases a maximum of 500,000 euros,

-Per company: maximum 550,000 euros for both phases.

Participation amount (open) :

-A maximum of 100,000 euros as a minority stake, up to 600,000 euros.

Who can apply for the fund?

-Spin-offs from universities, research institutions and companies with research, development or science-based activities,

-Innovative companies

>foundations.

> existing companies (less than 5 years) with registered office or permanent establishment in Schleswig-Holstein.

The IB.SH promotes in conjunction with the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the state program for business (2014 - 2020), with the state of Schleswig-Holstein and with the MBG Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Schleswig-Holstein mbH. The fund is also funded by REACT-EU as part of the Union's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
