An email confirming the receipt of the application will be sent to the main contact person (who filled the application).
In order for the application to be considered eligible, all the following supporting documents must be filled in English, signed and uploaded within the application form before the deadline:
- Quotation from the service provider(s), in English.
- Activities timeline, budget and KPIs: based on a template provided by PowerUp NetZero.
- Declaration of Honour: template provided by PowerUp NetZero, must be signed and dated.
- Result of the SME Financial Viability Self-Check - available at the following link: https://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/lfv/lfvSimulation.do

Evaluation: The evaluation process consists of:
- Eligibility check (by 14/08/2026).
- Evaluation process made by an Evaluation Panel which will evaluate and score the relevance, impact, and implementation sections of the application (by 11/09/2026).
- Once the evaluation process is completed, all applicants will receive an e-mail about the final results (by 16/09/2026).
- Agreement signature (only for selected applications) with the PowerUp NetZero consortium (by 23/10/2026).
The call is open for SMEs (as defined by the EU legislation (Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC and the SME user guide) interested in adopting Net Zero Technologies to become more digital, resilient and green.
Each beneficiary of this call can receive up to 20.000,00 EUR in the form of a lump-sum (thus, it is expected that at least 19 SMEs will receive financial support).
PowerUp NetZero OPEN CALL FOR BUSINESS INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY ADOPTION SERVICES provides financial support for the planning phase of the Net-Zero Technology (Solar energy, Battery and energy storage, H2 technologies, Sustainable biogas and biomethane, Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)) adoption, such as:
- Technical and economic feasibility studies
- Technology adoption roadmaps
- Integration planning and basic engineering
- Digital services for Net-Zero adoption
- Circularity, sustainability, ESG or compliance support
- Go-to-market and scaling support

Only one application per applicant will be accepted under this specific call. If an entity submits more than one proposal, as a general rule, only the first proposal submitted will be considered eligible for evaluation.
Applications for this call must be submitted by a single company (SME or start-up) with at least one closed and validated financial year and registered in an EU Member State or a country participating in the SMP.
Beneficiaries can participate to the different PowerUp NetZero Open Calls (“Business Innovation and Technology Adoption Activities”, the current call, or “Innovation Projects”, a call that will be launched later on), but a single beneficiary cannot receive more than 60.000,00 EUR overall.
The applying SME must submit a quotation by the selected service provider for carrying out the proposed service(s). Given that the evaluation takes into account the service provider information, it is not possible to change itduring the project execution.
